Synopsis
A pioneer from the first generation of comic book writers, Wolverton arrived just as publishers began embracing original material, turning away from the newspaper strip reprints that they had previously run with. Back in 1938, Centaur Publications gave Wolverton his big break, accepting such characters as Meteor Marvin and Space Patrol. The iconic Spacehawk would soon follow, with prime examples of this space hero featuring prominently here. The editors have gone to great pains to restore the work with subtlety and restraint.
